Hello~ Welcome back to another blog post, this time we are exploring the world of Harry Potter- well, in tag form. I hope you guys enjoy, credits to the source will be at the bottom if you want to check out answer people’s responses.
What house are you in?
“You could be great, you know, it’s all here in your head, and Slytherin will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that.”

What is your Patronus?
“But this is touching, Severus,” said Dumbledore seriously. “Have you grown to care for the boy, after all?”
“For him?” shouted Snape. “Expecto Patronum!”
From the tip of his wand burst the silver doe. She landed on the office floor, bounded once across the office, and soared out of the window. Dumbledore watched her fly away, and as her silvery glow faded he turned back to Snape, and his eyes were full of tears.
“After all this time?”
“Always,” said Snape.”

What is your wand?
“We do not speak his name! The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It’s not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things. Terrible! Yes. But great.”

What would your boggart be?
“So the boggart sitting in the darkness within has not yet assumed a form. he does not yet know what will frighten the person on the other side of the door. Nobody knows what a boggart looks like when he is alone, but when I let him out, he will immediately become whatever each of us most fears.”
Honestly, I could have so many boggarts. Perhaps myself in a cage or my family leaving me. That would be quite sad/frightening. I have quite a few things that a boggart could take the form of, but yet I do not know the main form it would take.
What position would you play in Quiddich?
“Bad news, Harry. I’ve just been to see Professor McGonagall about the Firebolt. She – er, got a bit shirty with me. Told me I’d got my priorities wrong. Seemed to think I cared more about winning the Cup than I do about staying alive. Just because I told her I didn’t care if it threw you off, as long as you caught the snitch first.”
In Basketball I would play defence as I was quick, persisting and I had a way of smacking the ball, mid-air and preventing it from going in the hoop. I was quite good at it, actually. Because of this, I believe I would be either a Seeker or a Keeper.
Without a doubt, I could not be a Chaser as I cannot throw a ball for the life of me. And I definitely could not be a Beater, learnt that the hard way when I attempted to play Softball.
Would you be pure-blood, half-blood, or muggle born?
“It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.”
Honestly, this is going to sound horrible but I feel like I would be a Pure-Blood. The fact that I was sorted into Slytherin does assist with this, however, I would definitely end up being a half-blood or even a muggle-born.
Either one would still be better than being just a muggle.
What job would you want to have after leaving Hogwarts?
“Hermione, when are you going to give up on this spew stuff?”
“When house-elves have decent wages and working conditions!”
Uhm- is it not obvious? I would 100% want to work at Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. Or even a Professor at Hogwards would be super fun.
Which of the Deathly Hallows would you choose?
“The Elder Wand, the most powerful wand ever made. The Resurrection Stone. The Cloak of Invisibility. Together, they make the Deathly Hallows. Together, they make one master of death.”
It is actually quite a difficult decision, and I am struggling to choose. Out of the unbeatable wand, the stone that brings the dead to life, or the cloak of invisibility I’d most likely choose the cloak or the wand, however, having the stone would be an impeccable asset to own.
However, out of everything I could choose, I would choose cloak as sometimes I just want to disappear.
“We must all face the choice between what is right, and what is easy.”
On an embarrassing note, I actually haven’t finished all of them because when I was younger and interested in the books, I couldn’t read the very thick books without struggling to get through them, and over time I eventually moved on.
Now, I personally dislike re-reading novels, and I can’t imagine jumping into the Harry Potter series without re-reading from the start. So, I am beyond conflicted. However, I did extremely enjoy the first novel, which I have re-read a few times.
Least favourite book?
“He was my mum and dad’s best friend. He’s a convicted murderer, but he’s broken out of wizard prison and he’s on the run. He likes to keep in touch with me, though… keep up with my news… check if I’m happy”
I have read up to the Prisoner of Azkaban and stopped there as I heavily disliked it, and with the book-length, I struggled to get through it. Which is another reason why I never finished the series? It just didn’t give me that feeling that the other novels did.
“You’ve got to appreciate what the worst is. You don’t want to find yourself in a situation where you’re facing it.”
Goblet of Fire- without a doubt! I loved the movie, and have rewatched that particular movie a significant amount of times. It was also the first movie I ever watched with my partner.
Least favourite film?
“You think the dead we loved truly ever leave us? Do you think that we don’t recall them more clearly in times of great trouble?”
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, for the aforementioned reasons. It was saddening, it strayed from the feels the good movement and it turned the entire series dark. I just, I couldn’t get into it and I dislike watching it.
“Don’t worry, you are just as sane as I am.”
Luna Lovegood! She is my Queen. I love her personality, her ecocentrism or even her quirky habits. I love how she is fierce about what she believes in and doesn’t care what other people think.
Other than that, Draco Malfoy or Voldemort. Purely for my previous teenage girl fantasy, and let me tell you, I have read my fair share of fanfiction of them. An embarrassing amount.
Least favourite/most hated character?
“Boys and girls are not to be within eight inches of each other.”
Umbridge, obviously. But I also hated Peter Pettigrew. I hated his slimy personality, his backstabbing ways and how willing he was to live as a rat for that many years. Disgusting.
Favourite teacher at Hogwarts?
Professor Minerva McGonagall or Remus Lupin. I love them both so much <3
Least favourite teacher at Hogwarts?
“Boys and girls are not to be within eight inches of each other.”
Again, Umbridge without a doubt. Or perhaps even Gilderoy Lockhart- the faker. They make me so mad!
Do you have any unpopular opinions about the series?
“Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean it is not real?”
For the original Harry Potter series, no. However, for the extended novel/script of The Cursed Child, I have many. However, I can only say a few in an attempt to keep this blog happy, but I’d just like to say that it was not needed, it shouldn’t have been made, and why on Earth was it made into a script?!
Thank you all for reading! This took awhile to create as I hate to find so many quotes! But it was worth it because I think it makes it look signficantly more put together.
